Michael: Hi.
We were in Hawaii last June, my wife and I, and she swam a lot. She has been going through a bad depression. But, while we were there, she swam with turtles. They came right up to her. She was so excited. I bought the domain name http://www.swimswithturtles.org for her (I thought that SwimsWithTurtles would be a good name for her, in addition to Leslie). I haven't done much with that domain yet, just put a placeholder.
Anyway. Looking at pictures of yourself now, I see that you and she look alike. Weird. Do you think people who love sea turtles, swimming and ocean are related somehow. I guess we are all related.
Anyway. Thanks for your website.
Best Wishes,
Michael - New Mexico

I remeber 1966 well, I was a sophomore in college, Western Michigan University, and I saw you in Playboy. It's funny how you remember things, "berry brown Karla Conway." Anyway 40 years later I get to tell you I really enjoyed the issue and you still are my favorite Playmate. It sounds like life has been good to you. Take care and enjoy Hawaii, your fan from Michigan.

Tutubent: I love your art work. Especially the ones of the mermaids and sea creatures. I came to visit this site cause my daughter emailed me a picture of one of your paintings, and said that she thought that it looked like one of my grand-daughter's. And it kind of does. this grandchild of mine is named Kamalani o ke kai.....Child of the sea. and she loves the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. Especially the honu and nai'a. I want to take her swimming with them one of these days. Just like I used to in my childhood. I really enjoyed your site and want to say thank you for sharing.

sharon steinbis: Dear Sashi,
Are you still looking for partners for your farm? I have a small farm in Washington state: 6 horses, 2 cats, 1 chicken, 1 dog, and 2 rabbits, a gerbil, a hedgehog, and some fish. I also have 2 kids and a husband. I would love an artist's retreat at some point. Would you consider an apprenticeship? I have one of your prints from 10 years back of a child sleeping on a turtle that is resting on the beach (Green Peace?).

James Patock: I am amazed that you still look so much like the young woman I remember from the beach. I talked with you several times while having a coke and never knew that you were destined not only to be a PMOM (I should have known but I was young and ...) but a talented artist as well.
Remember POP and walking under Santa Monica Pier in a daring (for then) bikini. One outstamding thing I remember is that you always stood tall while you walked.
I can remember a man stopping his car on the road above and running to the rail so he could watch you walk away. I can't sy that I blame him because you could make a blind man see a vision of your poise and beauty as you sauntered proudly by him.
I am pleased with your success but I am also sad for your loss.
From the old times.

Greg A. O\'Neill: Aloha, Sachi, great artwork!! Since I'm working on getting my startup, White Tiger Farm, up and
running on the Big Island's Hilo/Hamakua side, I
was thrilled to see your 'White Tiger' watercolor.
So you have seen Namaste, the White Tiger, at the
Panaewa Rainforest Zoo ? He is a
great source for great art. -- When my investor,
and I, get things coordinated, I will head back to
Hilo to get with realtors to find suitable land to
build on. I did have a parcel lined up with 290
acres near Honohina, but it was placed in escrow,
so I have to look elsewhere, bummer. -- I see you
are over in Kailua-Kona, so one of these days our
paths will meet. -- My focus is on building the
Farm, and the TechnoEcoVillage next to it, so I can rescue thousands of rare herbs, fruit, vege-
tables, bamboos, and tropical hardwood trees, from
extinction, and get talented techies to help me co-create new, clean energy systems, and means of
getting about our beloved homeworld, Earth. -- For me I know it is critical to show folks on Earth that we can live in clean, loving ways with
our homeworld, and we can repair the damage that has already been done, with new technologies available. Go check out one of them to see how we can devise ways to clean
up our collective act. -- I really do appreciate
your way of seeing Life in all its glowing splen-
dor. -- Maybe you can help me design new living spaces that use bamboos, for building homes, and
sturdy canvas to cover work and living structures.
-- I envision putting my Village above the Sacred
Earth, on sturdy, hardwood bamboo poles, and plat-
forms of bamboo plywood, reinforced with struts of
hard, smaller diameter bamboo poles. -- Check out
to see a nursery close to
where you are, with a bunch of beautiful bamboos
worth painting pictures of. -- I felt Spirit move
me to write these words to you, in the spirit of
Aloha. -- May our Paths cross someday on the Orchid Island, Hawai'i. -- Mahalo for your gra-
cious time and attention now. -- Aloha

Kellie: I can't write in detail how you have captured my heart with your work.. especially with dolphins,,, I am from North Dakota and would give anything to see your view with each sunset and rise. As a girl, I have always dreamt of swimming with dolphins, but needless to say, that maybe only admist my dreams. Your personality definitely shows through your work and I admire you for that. I would also love to see one of your works on my wall, but single parenting is confined to diapers and new shoes, so thank-you for the beauty and love that I could never have...
